Frequently asked questions
Does Ospikey comply with Royal Decree 933/2021?
Ospikey collects the data required by Royal Decree 933/2021 and sends it to SES.Hospedajes in the official format. The legal duty to report remains the host's: Ospikey is the tool that does it for you and shows you the result of every submission.
Do my guests need to install anything?
No. The check-in runs in the phone's browser from the link or QR code, with no app and no account.
Which documents can be read with the camera?
Passports and ID cards with an MRZ (the lines with “<” symbols). If reading does not work, the guest types the data by hand.
What happens to photos of ID documents?
Photos are optional and only requested if you enable that feature. They are stored encrypted and deleted automatically 30 days after check-out.
Can my team work in the same account?
Yes. You invite each person with their own login and role (owner, manager, cleaning or read-only) and choose which properties they see.
How do I pay?
Per property, on a monthly or annual plan, by bank transfer with a VAT invoice. You can cancel anytime from the panel.
Which languages is it available in?
Panel, check-in, emails and help in Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, German and French. Each guest sees the check-in in their own language.
Does it work outside Spain?
Today we report to SES.Hospedajes (Spain). Portugal (SIBA) and Italy (Alloggiati Web) are in preparation.
